The Coeburn/JIB score was some where in the neighborhood of 83-61.....
Anybody know why Burton only has 8 players?
I don't know, they had 9 yesterday though.
Castlewood proved again why they are such a good team.
Props to Grundy as well. I don't know of many teams who could come back from double-digit deficit against a team like Castlewood, and not only tie the game but take a 6 pt lead in the 4th quarter only to lose by 2 pts in the end. Not bad for a "wrestling" school who is not really supposed to be good at basketball.

Here's hoping the Indians will give the Devils a game. Win or lose though, good job getting to the finals. Kelly's defense will test Castlewood. This game could be a chance for Kelly to make their mark as a team to watch in the area this year.
I think a lot of that will depend on whether Kelly can keep Evan Bolling out of foul trouble and active in the game. So much of the scoring hinges on him.

Just because someone with 48 posts and the screenname "Bettyboop" agrees with your viewpoint doesn't mean you're right...looks like I shoulda been juvenile like you're being and said "End of argument." when wave10s agreed w/my POV...at least he's got over 1000 posts and actually played the game.
Like I said, you're talking about what you assume his intentions were...don't even know the kid...or it's not even that...know him or not, you didn't care to ask him if he was intending to hit the kid in the face. As was said before--he didn't hit the kid in the face--hit him in the top of the head. You know...what could have easily happened is that Hollyfield was ball faking, and at the same time, the kid raised up out of his defensive stance a little, causing Hollyfield to hit the kid in the head. But I think it was a ball fake that Hollyfield just lost control of. You're all over implying that Coeburn was playing dirty w/o coming out and saying it...so what exactly are your allegiances there pal? Where are you from? What is your stake in this?
I mean honestly, you going to believe what you assume he thought or what he told others directly he thought? Believe your assumptions if you will and continue to make yourself look stupid--I'll believe direct questions I've asked of the party involved and the direct answer I got. I think that's a little more credible than "assumptions" or what something "looked like from my seat". And I saw this happen 2-3 times while I was there alone--didn't get called in either the Coeburn/Burton game or the Kelly/Pound game. And I didn't hear you stand up for it--so you really can't feel that strongly on it. Just face it--stuff happens. The Hollyfield kid didn't plot in mid-run up the floor "I'm gonna ball fake and hit this kid in the top of the head". If he were going to be malicious to his defender...there's a lot worse coulda been done--I just really don't get your indignant outrage over this--it's really pathetic.
btw--off this argument topic--the final score was 83-61 Coeburn over Burton, just to confirm. They play Clintwood tomorrow night in the 5th place game. Should go 2-1 in the tourney with a good inspired effort...

I fully understand that many people will disagree with me, and I have absolutely no problem with that. You seem to be having a problem with someone disagreeing with you.
I've stated it before, and I'll state it one more time. Coeburn has an excellent team with tremendous talent. It was a cheap move, it was unsportsmanlike, it was unecessary, and it should not have happened.
